What are the requirements for adoption or foster care placement?

Foster care requirements are created to ensure that children with needs are put in secure, comfortable, and loving environments. To become foster carers, one must be at least 21 and have a legal right to live and work in the UK. Although there is no necessity to be married, own a house, or formerly be a parent, the applicants must prove they are stable, empathetic persons who can create a secure world.
