Handball is a 7-a-side team sport (6 court players and 1 goalkeeper per team) played indoors. Each match consists of two 30-minute halves, and the team with the most goals at the end wins. The game is governed internationally by the International Handball Federation (IHF) and features in major global competitions, including the Olympic Games and the IHF World Championships.
